Gather around the fire for an immersive cultural experience rooted in story, ceremony, and connection. Fire Dreaming invites participants to sit in circle with a Kombumerri Traditional Owner, listening to ancestral stories, learning about the cultural and spiritual significance of fire, and reflecting on its role in healing, land management, and cultural identity. A powerful space for truth-telling, learning, and deep connection to Country.

Didgeridoo/Yidaki

Bring the deep sound of Country to your event with a live didgeridoo (Yidaki) performance. Learn about its cultural significance, traditional use, and sacred connection to story and ceremony.

Cultural Awareness Presentation

Engage your workplace with an impactful one-hour session led by a Kombumerri Traditional Owner or Cultural Educator. Learn about local Aboriginal culture, language, kinship, and respectful practices that support meaningful reconciliation.

Ochre Dreaming

Connect to the earth through the cultural practice of ochre use. In this hands-on session, participants learn about the spiritual and ceremonial significance of ochre, its traditional collection and application, and how it links people to Country, ancestors, and story. This experience may include ochre painting, storytelling, and cultural expression through art and symbol.

Bush Tucker

Taste the seasons through native bush foods while learning about their uses for nutrition, medicine, and ceremony. A guided sensory experience that connects you with Aboriginal ecological knowledge.

Conservation Days

Get your hands in the soil while learning to care for Country the Aboriginal way. Join us for weeding, planting native species, and sitting in a yarning circle to reflect on the deeper meaning of land stewardship.

Education Days

We bring culture to life for students from childcare through to Year 12, including alternative education settings. Hosted either at Guanaba IPA or in your learning space, these hands-on sessions explore story, language, bush tucker, artefacts, and connection to Country.

RAP Works

A practical session to help your team build, refine, or activate your Reconciliation Action Plan. Includes cultural grounding, guided reflection, and real-life examples tailored to your sector and goals.

Guided Bush Tour

Walk slowly, listen deeply, and connect with Country on a cultural bushwalk through Guanaba IPA. Learn about native plants, seasonal knowledge, Dreaming stories, and traditional ways of reading the land.

Family Artefacts

Be welcomed into an intimate cultural space where families share their personal collections of artefacts and stories. Learn how culture lives on through objects, memory, and generational storytelling.

Welcome to Country

A Welcome to Country is a sacred cultural protocol delivered by a Kombumerri Traditional Owner to formally welcome visitors onto their ancestral lands. This welcome honours the spirits of the land, pays respect to Elders past and present, and invites all to walk with care and respect. Often accompanied by story, language, and ceremony, this is a powerful opening for events, education sessions, and community gatherings.
